*Raven has been running for some time now. Why? She can't tell. The giant serpent had been left behind long ago, there was no imediate danger. She wasn't thinking straight. NOTE: Raven has turned back into the 13 year old dungeoneer, see "Close but not quite" for more. Raven felt empty. She knew she had courage and power within her... somewhere, a strange prescence in her mind tells her to go back, to stop running, but she ignores it. Only when she reaches the Dunfalls does she stop, fall to her knees, and lie on her side, staring as if through the waterfall.*

*There isn't much to do here. The occasional chirrup of a bird or insect can be heard, but it remains quiet and peaceful overall. A fishing rod lies abandoned at the water's edge.*

*Raven remains on her side for a few more minutes, before getting up and dusting herself down*
look at yourself raven.. you're a mess.
*Raven stops muttering to herself and walks to the waters edge. She washes her face in the sharp cold water. Raven shudders slightly and lets out a deep sigh. She sits by the waters edge before she notices the fishing rod by the bank. She moves over and picks it up..*

*Nothing happens. It appears that the rod won't be catching any fish unless Raven can make it do so! Or she could take it elsewhere, in the hope of putting it to some other use...*

*She looks at the rod curiously. This is quite possibly the first normal thing she has seen in her time here. She looks around, its getting dark and she is quite hungry. She dangles the rod over the water. After a while she gets impatient and her mind drifts away. She thinks back to her quest and all of the things before this all happened. She then remembers a spell she had left over from her quest*
F-I-S-H?
*Raven laughs at herself*
Fish, like thats going to work.
*She puts down the rod and moves away from the water. Lieing away from the water she closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep*

*The magic had no effect. But then, Raven didn't remember to say "spellcasting"...
Raven sleeps on.*

*Raven sleeps on for a while. It is still quite peaceful by the waterside. Raven continues to sleep, but stirrs as she is bathed in a red glow. Raven opens her eyes slowly, and winces at the strange light. She angles her head to see the light properly, and her mouth gaped open, and all her senses came alert all at once. Infront of her was the Life-Force Sprite. It is ticking down in the Red zone. Raven scrambles to her feet, and still doesnt quite comprehend what is going on. The Life Force continues to decrease.*
Wh... aher......
*Raven's eyes bolt wide open as it all clicks into place. Sheis still in the dungeion, she is still a Dungeoneer. She needs food, and quick. The grabs the fishing rod, hoping the spell had some effect. When she realises that nothing happened, she begins to panic*
F-I-S-H! F-I-S-H! FISH DARN IT! FISH!
Why won't this stupid Spellcasting thing work! Its stu...

*A large trout appears, and hangs in the air, just above Raven's head. It's unlikely that the FISH spell would have been needed during Raven's quest to supply her with nourishment - there would have been real food around for that. So what would the fish's purpose have been, and what might it have in store now?*

*Raven flinches back as the trout comes out of the water. She looks at the Trout, quite surprised at its appearance. She reaches out and touches it with her finger. She then grabs the fish from the air and looks at it in her hand*
What use is a raw fish to me!? I can't make sushi!
*She turns around and looks at the life-force timer. Judging by how long it has taken to get to this stage, she estimates she has an hour or two before it runs out.*
I need to cook this fish...
*Raven starts running, despite her fatigue, back toward town. As she moves she looks at the fish in her hand*
If you have any idea fish. I'd like them about now.Haha.. ahh.. like you could talk.

[OOC: The fish didn't come out the water, it just appeared in mid-air. It is magic, after all!]
*The trout slides out of Raven's grasp. It seems to drift upwards and away from her. Then it swings back down through the air... and slaps her round the face! It looks like this is a cheeky piece of offensive magic, originally intended to help Raven's team get past an Opposition guard or minion. But without one around, the fish has turned on its caster...* [OOC: This almost happened with a couple of actual Knightmare spells: ANVIL and SWORD.]

*Raven stops and stares at the fish for seven long seconds. She hasn't quite come to terms with the fact that she has just been slapped by a magical flying fish. Raven continues looking at the fish until it rears around for another slap. Raven ducks and continues running*
This is not my day!

*The trout gives chase, slicing through the air like an arrow, only not quite as fast. It seems to have set Raven as its target. Then again, there isn't anyone else around...* [OOC: If the action is heading out of the Dunnfalls, you may like to start a new thread in another location. Or join in with an existing thread...]
