*Seeing some people of at least the same alignment causes Equaliser to make a decision she has always hated making, the decision that she needs help to survive this one. Reluctantly she emerges from the overgrowth behind Fear and Hands with her weapon held tightly in the hand behind her back.*
Equaliser: A'hem, Gentlemen. This game is one of many foes and I propose seeing as we are all of what you fellows would call the opposition then I think a pact for the duration of this 'sport' may increase our joint chances of survival, is this interesting to you?

"Very well, the more of us that join together, the more better chance we survive and those mortals perish before us" siad Lord Fear as he kept his thick, sharp stick in his hand that he held tightly

*The Old Man watches the scene in a large mirror, and shakes his head.*
Old Man: I knew this would happen. They have no sense of battle, these Powers that Be and Opposition. The only ones that seems to understand are the unaligned. The higher forces may have to intervene, if they don't sort themselves out. After all, how can they trust each other? At least one in each group will be quite happy to slice them up whilst they sleep...

'Ere, you're lordship, we ain't actually goin' to kill anyone, are we? I mean, kidnappin's one thing, and even when we set trolls on 'em or blasted 'em with fireballs they never really died, but actually killin'...well, I don't think I can do it.

*Ursula remains alert as they continue on their way, constantly listening and searching for any strange sounds or scents. She is more than familiar with being hunted, and despite her distaste for violence she is prepared to defend herself if needs be*
"Oh, there are many creatures other than wolves within this forest, though the wolves are certainly the most dangerous. They seem more... bloodthirsty... than the others of their kind that I have encountered. Few wolves would approach a human, let alone attack one."
*There is a slight pause, as if Ursula is listening for something... or just debating whether to go on*
"There are other creatures in this forest of a more mystical nature as well... I can only hope that they are outside the boundaries of this 'arena'."

*Equaliser gives a slight laugh at Hands, as she is an assassin killing is something she is more than used to and his reluctance seems comical to her*
Equaliser: We must find a place to set up a camp or base, fatigue has come quickly to me at least and as I saw you running from that mechnical monstrousity earlier then i'm sure you must feel similar. I will find us a place to rest.
*Equaliser gesturese for Fear and Sly to follow her, eventually she reaches the spot she had in mind and places her cloak down as a sheet, she advises the others to do the same*
Equaliser: I shall stay on watch duty should you wish, I have much experience at this, i doubt Hands has the constitution and you my lordship should not be forced to lose your rest. If you can manage it hands you take the latter half of the night. This is acceptable I trust.

Yeah, fine.
* Hands doesn't like this assassin and isn't hiding his dislike too well. *

*Lord Fear slowly closes his eyes and pretends to sleep while he has one of his eyes open a bit to keep his eyes on Equailser as he doesn't trust her slightly*

*Equaliser sits keeping watch, her senses tell her neither of her protectees trust her enough to sleep, meaning they'll be as tired and slow tomorrow. Still fatigue will catch up with them eventually and if they haven't shown any usefulness by that point she'll take care of them*
(OOC: Please don't make your characters act as if they have heard her thoughts, although Sly and Fear didn't trust her beforehand.)

*seen by no-one, as the group are all too busy keeping an eye on the others in the trio, a fairly large but harmless animal sniffs around near them, and retrieves a large, knobbly piece of wood before taking it into the woods with it. Lord Fear's weapon has disappeared into the undergrowth...*

*FrightKnight can take no more of just sitting in a tree all day. Although having the pleasure of not being the first one to die is apparent, much needs to be done in order to ensure that nobody remains at the end except himself*
*FrightKnight clambers down whilst nobody is watching and reaches into his knapsack*
Now here's an odd potion. I think I'll just deftly walk over to that opposition group over there. Sylvester Hands' only weapon appears to be, besides his legendary 'magic rope', his smell. He could be the first one to go. Or how about Lord Fear? Or how about...derum, that other character?
*FrightKnight has second thoughts about using the ption and instead intends to use the object*
A book! I don't want to read poetry! Or maybe if I try talking to it.
"Hello, book. Offering anything to help me in this battle, or should I just burn you and make a cosy warm fire?"

[*Hours have passed since this macarbe game of survival began, yet Skiprazor is yet to see any sign of nightfall. Indeed, from his vantage point atop a tree overlooking the northern cliffs, the sun seems as bright in the sky as it did when he first arrived. He is disconcerted, but not altogether surprised - the sorcerous powers that govern this 'sport' are powerful beyond anything even The Confuser or Fear are privy to. He sees no reason why they could not elect to force the combatants to survive in broad daylight, just to add a further twist to the proceedings. To the East, The Confuser and his companions are no doubt attempting to think their way out of their predicament. To the South, he can almost feel the tension surely present at camp Fear.*]
[*Feeling suitably refreshed from his period of rest, and having consumed some of the plain yet satisfying rations provided by the Old One, Skiprazor's thoughts turn once again to bloodshed. In his mind's eye, he composes a list of the remaining combatants, crossing them off in red ink in the order in which he intends to dispatch them, or expects them to perish. It is a straightforward yet unpredictable road to victory, and as he focuses on his list he begins to take in the intangibles. Like all servants of chaos, Fear and his minons are all too willing to deliver the backstabbing blow of betrayal, yet they are also no fools, and must surely realise that their chances of survival are exponentially greater by remaining in a group. And while the Powers That Be may have no wish to partake in the slaughter, they will almost certainly defend themselves if attacked.*]
[*Skiprazor is somewhat disappointed that he is forced to conduct his gruesome name-checking in daylight, yet he is also thankful that the more skilled warriors - Fear's assassin friend, in particular - do not have the cover of darkness either. He thinks about his first course of action, weighing up all the factors and potential contingencies, until he settles on a name. His mind made up on his first target, he packs up his belongings and descends silently to the forest floor.*]
[*It is time to play the game.*]
