[ModNote: Continued from Waiting.] *Tom regains his composier.* "Well. That form should serve you well in the forest." "I dought very highly that any creature would dare to attake you." "As for me. I think Sences Blackout is called for." *Tom Mumbals the spell and it imediatly takes affect, although any human who was watching could see Tom, Due to Ursula being a werebear he appers to disapper right befor her eyes, she can't even smell his sent. But she can hear his voice.* "Righty Ho onwards I think."

[OOC: This Senses Blackout - great idea, but seems a little advanced...is it ok to leave the flaw that if you bump into someone or knock them over they DO know about it and realise someone is there? Just a thought.]

[Continued from kmbs.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=fam&action=display&thread=1065790943] *Unexpectedly, there comes a loud whooshing noise, and a kind of groaning. A huge winged horse - an escaped Pegathor from the Knightmare Boarding School, lowers itself through the forest canopy and lands. The creature looks tired, or ill, and the sparkle that would normally fill such mythical eyes is tainted with fear.* [OOC: I hope this intervention doesn't bother anyone else. It's just a loose end I wanted to tie up. The post can be ignored or deleted if there's any problem.]

(OOC: Wouldn't the post be better in a new thread? Ursula and Tom aren't actually in the forest yet as far as I know, and they're on an important quest so they currently don't have any time to spare to help the Pegathor. Also, I don't think a horse would be going anywhere near a giant bear...)

[OOC: I'd say a new thread would be better as it has very little relevance to the quest, and Ursula is kind of right...although these horses are much bigger than her bear form and kind of violent but yes a new thread might work, unless you say it wanders into a cave and hibernates - Icould use it in later quests ]

[OOC: Yes, good points - is the following OK?]
*The pegathor rests for just a moment; then, it gets up, folds back its wings, and trots deeper into the forest. It moves with quiet grace, and is soon out of sight and earshot.*
[OOC: So, providing people are aware that the pegathor is in the forest, somewhere, it is an element that can now be picked up by anyone for a future storyline. I hope that's suitable.]

(OOC: Thats fine by me. But I can't speke for Kully or Ursula) <From Ursula's point of View Tom's Disembodyeid Voice starts talking.> "Yes I think this should do provieding I don't bump into any animal. Or they will know I'm there. Right eo my dear shall we press on?" *He looks around.* "Hmmmm Yes I think or watcher freind is still attending closely to our progress. But I care not a fig for that."

(OOC: although these horses are much bigger than her bear form and kind of violent Yup, but she's still higher on the food chain! ;D And that's fine with me Young G!) *Ursula growls questioningly as Tom vanishes, surprised by the sudden disapperance of his scent. Her ears flick as she hears his voice, and she dips her shaggy ursine head in understanding* *Her ears flick sharply, and she shambles up onto her hind legs scenting the air, then drops back to all fours as the Pegathor flies overhead. A slight flicker of concern touches her eyes as she notices its condition, but the current task is more urgent* [ModNote: The pegathor's story would continue in Meditations and Reflections.] *She looks in Tom's direction as she hears his voice, and nods with a grunt of assent. At the mention of the watcher, a low snarl rumbles through her massive frame, her black lips writhing back to reveal a momentary gleam of deadly fangs. Turning back to the forest, she breaks into a lumbering run, following the path of Tzigane's spirit*

*Running ahead, Ursula hears Tom's shout behind her, and realises how far ahead she's gotten. She retraces her steps only to realise she can't find Tom unless he speaks, and stops. Standing on her hind legs, she growls questioningly and listens for a reply*

*Ursula turns and drops back to all fours as she hears him, getting a rough idea of where he is. She nods in agreement, knowing that she's much faster in this form. She thinks for a moment, with a very un-bearlike frown*
*"Oh pride be dammed, it'll be faster if I carry him. Besides, it's not like I'll be seen by another Gurahl..."*
*She jerks her head back towards her shoulders with a grunt, trying to tell Tom to get on her back.*

*Sudernly it cliks.*
"Are you sure Miss Ursula. I know of your races.... how to put it delicalty? Great Pride. But I agree It might be the only corse of action."
*Tom walks forward and mumbals another spell and he appers on top of Ursulas Back.*

*Ursula grunts slightly at the mention of her race's pride, since being seen with a human on her back would make her a laughing stock. But she shrugs her shoulders anyway, reasoning that the quest is more important*
*She jumps as Tom appears on her back, almost tipping him off, but settles back down. As he reminds her of the Senses Blackout, she grunts affirmatively, then continues to run forward at a slightly slower pace that is nevertheless somewhat bumpy. Thankfully the thick ruff of furr at her neck provides a decent grip like a horses' mane, and her back is broad enough to make it fairly easy to stay on*
