*The spectral figure reaches down the dress of his victim... She suddenly lets out a scream. Korrlok is not actually harmed but is thrown back by the force of the scream.*
"What the...!"
Tzigane: "Not again. NEVERagain. Not even death, NEVER again!"

*Wrinkling her nose in utter disgust, Ursula searches what's left of Korrlok's clothing. The rotten fibres tear with the ease of wet paper, and if possible, the smell gets even worse, though Ursula finds that less disconcerting than Tom's words*
"...I don't know how we would find a flame... how could he possibly carry one? and how would it have remained alight in these conditons..."
*As she tears away what was once Korrlok's shirt, a tarnished silver locket falls into the leaves with a soft thump. Picking it up by its broken chain, Ursula remembers what she saw in the alleyway in Wolfenden*
"...of course... the locket..."

*Korrlok closes in on Tzigane again. She lets out another powerful scream. It causes Korrlok to slow down, and flinch in agony. But this time it will not stop him.*
"Oh, it hurts, Tzigane... it hurts... but I will prevail. That trick only does real harm to living flesh and bone... it can't stop me..."
*As Tzigane falls to her knees int error, Korrlok takes a grip of her shoulders...*

*Tom looks at The Loket fromWere he is standing a few feet away.*
<In a low some what menacing & Inhuman voice.>
"Well Done my dear. That was a stroke of good luck wasn't it?"

*At the sound of the voice, Hordriss gasps... he's heard it before.*
No, no... all this time... one assumed it would go for the bear woman, what a fool!
*He goes to rush forward, to help Ursula, then stops.*
No, no, the bear woman is capable of taking care of herself. If I approach it might flee, it must lead me to the blade. Then, only then... can one finally correct my greatest mistake.
*He looks at the unfolding scene.*
But if you harm anyone, Bloodfang, then one must act...

*The hair on the back of Ursula's neck rises at Tom's words, a chill running down her spine. No, it wasn't her imagination at all. Something is very, very wrong here. She slowly gets to her feet, wrapping the broken chain around her hand, and closing the locket in her fist*
"....yes... Yes it was lucky. What would you suggest we do now?"
*Her voice is casual, but she is tensed and ready to fight if needs be, though she dreads the thought of having to fight a friend*

*Smile appers on Toms face. But this is a cold blooded smile, Not his userawall cheefull freindly smile, His eyes also apper different some how, almost possesed and insane. He looks Ursula deep in the eyes.*
"Why do you adopt a stance of combat my dear?"

*Ursula meets Tom's gaze steadily, showing no sign of fear*
"Because you are not Tom. He would not behave in this callous manner. And you smell of bad magic. I must return this locket to the spirit girl, and if you intend to stop me, I would advise you against it. I am sure Tom would understand if I was obliged to fight you."
*Ursula starts heading back towards the battling ghosts, the locket clenched tightly in her fist*
(OOC: anything supernatural and evil is "bad magic" to Ursula)

That's the spirit!
*Hordriss smiles*
Perhaps you can make him shake it off... it doesn't have complete control yet.
*But just then he feels, at the back of his mind, something which sounds like mocking laughter.*
No... you cannot...

*Tom's eyes or The presenes in Toms eyes seem to flare for a minuet. To Ursula's Horror Tom's right fist raises as if to strike her. But it dose not come down. Instead Tom grabs his right arm with his left and holds it."
<Tom's normal voice but in a great deal of pain.>
"NO. This is my body, My mind and she is my freind. I don't know who or what you are but I command you out of my body."
*Tom looks to Ursula. His eyes hold a desperet ple for help. Then he colapses.*

*Ursula's eyes widen in shock as Tom collapses. For a moment she is split between returning the locket or helping him... and decides that helping the living must come before helping the dead. Slipping the locket into one of the pouches at her belt, she crouches by Tom and shakes him, trying to rouse him*
"Tom? Can you hear me? Are you all right?"

*Hordriss' eyes are closed, and perspiration beads his brow.*
One must continue to suppress it... not only in oneself, but in others. But... one is not a trained psion... one cannot hold it at bay...
But... if... if one releases the effort to cast a spell and restrict it, why, it would have the chance to take over again...
[OOC: This is code for, I can't use the spell until sanctioned by a rep!]
Yet even now... One feel's one's control slipping...
*Suddenly he shouts as loud as possible, easily overheard by Ursula.* Hurry! Complete your task whilst your mind is your own!

*Ursula's head jerks up as she hears Hordriss' voice. She knows that returning the flame is essential to completeing their quest, but doesn't want to leave Tom.*
"...what does he mean... while my mind is my own?"
*Then a horrible thought strikes her... something has already taken control of Tom, and if it's powerful enough to possess him, then surely it can do the same to her... Sprining back to her feet, she sprints back over the ridge, grabbing the locket and only then wondering how to return it to someone who can neither hear or see her*
