[ModNote: Continued from BEAR ATTACK!!!] *Julia walks purposely over to the middle of the marketplace and in quite a loud voice, so that people hear her clearly, says* "Excuse me, but is there anyone here that would possibly know where I can find Hordriss The Confuser? It's really urgent" *Waits for a response, the marketplace is quite busy so someone is bound to know*

"I'm looking for Hordriss The Confuser, he's a sorcerer clad in red robes and he's got a white beard with red streaks on it. He talks in a sort of pompous way"
*Something dawns on Julia*
"Hey...you sound really familiar to me...do I know you from somewhere? No...don't answer...ah I know! Are you related to Julius Scaramonger at all? You look like him too...it's uncanny..."

[OOC: This is frustrating. I was really hoping you'd take my previous post as a hint to join the existing marketplace thread 'A New Face In Town', with Suh Wok, and help our newcomer develop his ideas while exploring yours. It seemed like a great connection to make, and a good way of helping him gain some experience of interaction, but I was obviously too subtle. Is there any chance that this thread could be deleted? Or that you could transfer Julia's attention to Suh Wok as quickly as possible?]

[OOC: Okaaaaaaay, what do I do now? There are two new traders in Wolfenden and I wasn't to know that I should've gone to see Suh Wok. Please resolve this, guys!]

[OOC: I think it's an unfortunate case of misunderstanding on all sides. And for my part in that, I'm sorry. I hope the following will help to resolve this:]
*Although Julia may not realise it, she is right in the midst of market trade: the next generation! In front of her is Oliver, aspiring merchant and son of the notorious Julius Scaramonger, offering her a book that could literally tell her where Hordriss is. Across the marketplace is Suh Wok, child of the keen and kindly trader Ah Wok, waiting to sell an intriguing book that may be even more useful.
It seems Julia is about to be faced with a choice. Does she continue dealing with Oliver Scaramonger? Or does she try her luck with Suh Wok?*
[OOC: Thus, if and when you decide to visit Suh Wok instead, his thread is ready and waiting for you to do so. Is that OK?]

[OOC: Yeah, that helps fine thanks ] *Eager to make a purchase from a Scaramonger, Julia pulls some money out of her purse (which is in her jeans pocket) and counts out the right amount. She's just about to make the trade when she has a sudden idea...this is a Scaramonger after all...* "Hmm...well before I give you the money, would it be possible to have a quick look through the book just to check that everything's ok? I promise I won't run off with it without paying, just a quick look is all"

*Folds arms in a sly sort of way*
"Well surely me having a quick look isn't that much of a problem...unless the book isn't really magic? Come on, let me have a look..."

*Sigh*
"Father was right never try to deciver some one from the Dungeoneers realm."
"All right it's not magical, can't blame a person for trying though. But look this thing here might very well be usefull."
*brings out a diveing rod that is coverd in gold leaf.*
"It's a magi deviner. If you want to find Hordriss your going to have to trace his magic resine that he'll have left behind, this baby will do it look."
*moves the rod about and it imediatly bings to Julia and makes a faint humming noise.*
"Hmmmm carrying any spells are we? What you say?? 12 peices of silver??"

*Is convinced by this, so decides to let Oliver off the hook - she can't remain angry with any Scaramonger for too long, they're too likeable*
"OK...I'll take it! Hopefully he hasn't wandered off too far, into the woods or something!"
*Hands over the 12 silver pieces*
