"My Dear Aranel I put the Gold Bar in your hand."
"You must have accidently put it in your pocket with out thinking about it."
"Why you should want to steal that trinket is imaterial the fact remains you have stole it."
"But because you and I are old freinds."
*he takes out a purse of Silver and counts out 4 coins.*
"Here you are Mr. Ah Wok. That should cover the inconvienence. Sorry about my freind she's a bit forgettfull and sharp temperd. She won't have ment any harm. She peobabley picke the dragon up and pocketed it with out thinking."

*Charles who had been watching the events unfold walks back over to Aranel just as she starts to run*
Charles: Good grief, she's in a hurry. {To Leytan} Excuse me old fellow, do you know that girl at all? You were talking as if you were old friends. Obviously i don't like to pry but she seemed quite upset.
*Charles' bodyguards are flexing their muscles and getting some funny looks from traders*

*Leytan looks Charles squre n the eye's, Charles notices his different coulored eyes. One Pericing Blue, while the other is Deep Green the mark of an Atlantian. Leytan smiles a plesent but still sinister smile.*
"Yes. I suppose you could call us Old freinds. We have been allies befor now, but also enemeies it deppended appon whos services I was in at the time. While I do respect and like her, As a Mercenery freindship is not something that enters my buissness life."
"I am Leytan, a Solider for hire and new arrival in town. I am recently un-employed following the death of my last employer."
"I'm affriad Aranel has rather unfortunatly can be a bit forgetfull. I had given her Gold to buy an item she wanted from that Merchent but she forgot to hand it over and there was some unplestres, she can be quite hot headed. I steped in and calmed things down but Aranel was still upset. I would imagin she's gone some were to cool off. She'll be fine. She's a tough girl. Belive me I know, from personal experiece."
*Rolls his left sleve up a bit and reveals a scare runing diagonal across his wrist.*
"She gave me that a few years back."

*Charles regards Leytan, taking him in and sizing him up should he need a hired hand at any time. He seems to be pleased with what he sees, the man is clearly a useful Mercenary.*
Charles: Well then Leytan, I might have an offer for you. My name is Charles Redmun, I'm a businessman and traveller who has recently purchased a local inn The Wolf's Howl. You may have heard of it? You have? Well I need bouncers to guard it especially once I turn it into the moneymaking gaffe it's going to be and I would be honoured if you would work for me. I pay very well indeed.

*Leytan turns the offer over in his head.*
"Very well, My asking price is 5000 gold pieces. I'm worth every penny trust me."
"There are two things you should know of me befor hand."
"Number 1. I do not belive in Good or Evil, to me there is no difference between the 2."
"Number 2. I am fericely Loyal to an employer and will see a job through to the end. BUT I expect the same curtesy in returne. Thoses who have hired and then double crossed me, are NO longer around for comment."

*Charles' eyes widened at the hefty price, although he could easily afford it he was not willing to pay a bouncer more than the bar itself cost.*
Charles: Well the bar only cost me 2,750gp so if you could accept 2,500 seeing as the job isn't a hard one and i'm sure not a great deal of trouble will arrive. I shall offer you room and board free including drinks but 5,000 is far too much good friend. I'd be surprised if any employer round here would pay THAT much!*

*Leytan smiles and chuckles slightly.*
"Oh Belive me Mr. Redmun. My reputation is such that to the kinds of people who employe me 5000 is cheap."
"But I am not unresoanble Your price is fair, I accept."
*Holds out his hand to shake.*

*Charles holds out his left hand, and seals the deal. One of his orc guards hands him a gold bag which he hands to Leytan* Charles: The word of Charles Redmun is like a sworn oath, Leytan. Here you are 2,500 gold pieces exactly. Now if you would accompany me back to my inn then I can introduce you to my new staff, the barkeep Dal should have them all ready by now *He leads towards the Wolf's Howl* {Continued in 'A New Start'}
