*Alcuin, who has not landed on his side but on his feet, jumps slightly at Shadow's slight poke.*
I don't think he's either. I think he's just... kind of... crazy.
*Robin is struggling to get up. He's doing quite well, but still needs to lean against the wall with one hand while he steadies himself.*
Sorry; that's not too helpful, I know... but to be honest, I'd like to know more about where we are before I make any decisions regarding birds who may or may not be bats, or... or whatever.
Alcuin: Tweet!
*He reacts to Robin's words. Almost instantly, he starts to fly towards the space where a door would originally have been. He stops and hovers in its space, then turns to face the two adventurers. He is, unmistakeably, heading somewhere.*

Oh? The little critter seems to want to go somewhere. Well we could follow it...
*She turns back to Robin.*
...but are you going to be okay moving around?

I'm all right. I'll just need to go... slower than usual.
*Robin gingerly takes a few steps. The pain all over his body shoots through him, but at the same time, a soft feeling like sprinkles of sugar seems to descend upon him from the top of his head downwards. He blinks in a little confusion.*
Huh?
*He takes a few more steps forwards. Again, he is in incredible amounts of pain, but again, every time he's in pain, he feels a curious, soothing feeling upon him. The pain, lasting only a quarter of a second each time, isn't as disabling as the hero once thought.*
Alcuin: Tweet?
*Robin savagely limps forwards.*
Okay, let's go.
*He follows Shadow through the space where the doorway to the "Magical Remedies" room would have been, and the bird begins to lead the pair down a path that would, at one point, have been a corridor.*

Well...
*She isn't very convinced when Robin says, "I'm all right", but she realises that they can't stay here forever.*
...if you say so.
*Shadow picks up her breastplate and belt and walks out with Robin following her.*
Hmm...I didn't know birds could get jobs as tour guides.
*Whilst walking, she takes a look at her hand. It's not bleeding as badly, but it hasn't healed as fast as Robin's wound.*
Well that sucks.
*She looks back to the bird.*
How did this thing even get here anyways?!

*Minutes pass, with Alcuin leading the two through the ruins, following a path of which he clearly knows the way. It zigzags and runs around a lot, but mostly in straight lines. In some places, it is obvious to Robin that the bird is flying down where corridors used to be... in others, the school is so severely ruined that Robin is just crossing open plains of rubble, but it is a safe bet that Alcuin's path can be trusted.* Where do you think this little guy is taking us, anyway? *As Robin and Shadow finally pass under an un-ruined part of the school - a single, standing arch - Alcuin stops, hovering in the middle of the air in front of the glistening Tin Child. Unknown to bird, boy or girl, the mascot in the Central Courtyard has recently had its magic activated.* Whoah... *Robin isn't sure exactly what he's felt... but he's certainly felt something.* [OOC: Back in a week!]

Robin: Where do you think this little guy is taking us, anyway?Well how should I know? I told you before I'm not from Wolfendon. *When Shadow passes under the archway and sees the Tin Child, she's slightly amused.* Hehehe, why people waste time, money and magic making these things I will never understand. *But she senses something else. It's not magic. It's...a presence. A presence she's familiar with, ever since she met Owen.* Wait, someone's...been here...I think. I think a dragon's been here recently. It couldn't be Smirkenorff...could it?[OOC: Of course I'm referring to Sara here who was with Zadar. Have a nice holiday Robin and I shall await your return ]

A dragon? Are you sure?
*Robin doesn't know much about dragons, but he's sure of one thing: he doesn't like them too much. He is well aware that some dragons are good - one of them, named Grandos, was friendly enough for him to have had a close, but messy, encounter with - but he isn't keen on their scaly skin, grandiose manner and the way they fly. At least they're not bats.*
There's something odd about this place, I'm sure. But, a dragon? I mean, there are dragons around, certainly, but this is... well... this is a ruined building, with...
*He looks at the Tin Child.*
...a somewhat incongruous statue. And it certainly seems strange. Are you sure, Shadow?
*He isn't sure why he's so nervous... but as he keeps babbling, he gets more and more nervous. He slowly comes to realise why... as his tension grows, Alcuin is hovering close and closer to him, and he feels even more flustered.*
I'm just not sure about those flying lizards.
*At the mention of the word "lizards", several things happen at once. Alcuin stops dead still in the air, the Tin Child lets out an audible fuzzing sound as its magic is dragged back to the surface, and the courtyard begins to illuminate itself with an unearthly brilliance. Robin, visually disturbed, limps backwards towards Shadow, a trembling hand reaching for his sword.*
What in the name of the Grand Pooka is that?
*Something is happening to the bird. He is changing shape. It is very bright, and Robin can't quite see... but some form of transformation is definitely happening. The bird looks terrified, but excited, as it is... perhaps evolving...*
Alcuin: Tweet! Tweet... Tweet....? Tweet? ...

[OOC: Did you just put a Pokemon reference in here? XDDD]
...yes. Ever since I met a dragon once, I seem to have gained the skill to...sense that one has been in a location recently. I'm sure of it...
*She most certainly is sure of it. But before she can say anything else, Robin had already said his sentence, and the bird is beginning to change.*
What...?!

[OOC: Yes, of course I did!]
*Robin is sure he can hear both himself and Shadow yelling something, but is completely clueless as to exactly what. For a moment, everything is so bright, he is blinded...*
Alcuin: Tweet?
*...and then, as quickly as it started, it stops. Alcuin is no longer there. Or, if he is, he is no longer a bird.
A small, green creature falls to the floor.*
What the hell is that?

*With a sprinkle of light, the green creature falls to the ground, landing unsteadily at the Tin Child's feet. It looks up, expectantly, at the bemused stares of both woodsman and girl warrior. Attempting a roar seems a good idea.*
...squeak?
*This isn't as easy as it used to be. The creature blushes, shakes its head, and tries again.*
...cough!
*No. Okay, calm yourself. You've been asked a question. You've been asked what you are. Let's answer that, to begin with.*
I... am a dinosaur! My name is, as you shall see, Dinosaur Name, which I think you'll agree is a very suitable name for a dinosaur.
*That came out well. For a six-inch-tall dinosaur, he hasn't done too badly at all.*

*Shadow doesn't hesitate. Her breastplate and belt are flung to the floor and her sword is out in a split second.*
Stay back!
*She points it to Dinosaur Name.*
I for one have never heard of a 'dinosaur', but I can easily tell from your looks that you're obviously dangerous!
*Don't think of Shadow as stupid. She is just a prejudice child. She believes what she hears (most of the time) and she considers looks first before personality. After all, she first thought of Robin as a "mere woodsman. And a cowardly one by the looks of it."

Dangerous? Yes! Yes, of course I am dangerous! You have it right, girl! I am the mighty Dinosaur Name!
*He starts to stomp towards Shadow, licking his lips menacingly. However, because he is so small, all he manages to do is advance about a foot before stopping to take a rest.*
Just... just quake in fear, girl... I am... I am the... the mighty...

Is this thing serious?

...Dinosaur Name?
*Robin smirks. Like Shadow, he has never heard of a "dinosaur", whatever that is - although from the looks of Dinosaur Name, it appears to be a small, green, bipedal lizard. After his confused thoughts regarding dragons, Robin is relieved that Alcuin didn't turn out to be one of them. Furthermore, despite the tiny creature's claims that he is a dangerous beast, he certainly doesn't appear to be such.*
Well, that's certainly a most suitable name for a dinosaur.
*He grins at Dinosaur Name, who is glaring at him.*
I don't think you need your sword, Shadow. I mean, look at him. You shouldn't pick on someone below your own size... unless they're a genuine threat, of course.
It's a good thing dinosaurs aren't any bigger, as well...
