*Above Lord Fear, the Marblehead throne room begins automatically to power down. But certain defences remain quietly active, and should anyone be daring or foolish enough to try and break in while Lord Fear is away, they will still quite literally meet with opposition...
While in the town of Wolfenden (assuming that's where he's heading), one thing that Lord Fear might want to investigate is the dispel alarm that rang out so mysteriously a while ago. Because although he doesn't know it yet, if Lord Fear manages to follow it up fully, he could end up with a dungeoneer in his clutches. And then he could really go to town...*
[OOC: I'm referring to this (gosh, over a year ago!):
This one is an alarm that rarely rings, but it has done so at least once before, back in what is often called the Sixth Phase of adventuring (even though Lord Fear was in different headquarters back then). It is the 'dispel alarm', letting Fear know when someone has had the nerve to directly undo his magic. On that previous occasion of the dispel alarm sounding, it turned out that a team questing for the Sword had dispelled Lord Fear's SAMURAI spell. But a lot has happened since then. What has caused the dispel alarm to sound again?
Providing nothing more pressing diverts his attention, this is something Lord Fear might want to investigate.*
[OOC: It was Julia's dispelling of the ENTRAP spell that set the dispel alarm off, but Lord Fear will have to find this out for himself, one way or another.]
The ENTRAP spell incident, which led to dungeoneer Raven being released from the book in which Lord Fear had supposedly imprisoned her, happened in this thread.]
