*Morwena, blissfully unaware of Jozan listening to her talking to herself, continues to mutter under her breath*
"Honestly, the nerve of some people, walking into this realm and demanding..." * Morwena's voice cuts off as she accidentally pulled a feather too hard*

*The wings, the femininity, the chatter - Jozan surmises that the stranger must be a pixie. And what did she just say? She was muttering, making it difficult to hear, but it sounded like "walking into this realm and demanding". That could quite easily refer to the arrival of the Aurak, continuing its pursuit of him. On the other hand, demanding visitors from other realms may be a frequent occurrence in this strange land. Jozan listens on, hopeful of learning more.*

*Morwena sighed to herself as she accidentally pulled her feather out*
"Today just isn;t my lucky day, first that mage casts a spell on the maid, one that interferes with choice, then..... Ahhh, that feels better!"
*Morwena is currently surrounded by a golden light, and she sighs contendly as her wound seems to shrink*

*Jozan remains silent and motionless, wishing that the strange creature would just leave.*

*Tthe golden light that was surrounding Morwena faded away, leaving only a small wound in her side, with a sigh of relief, Morwena flew back into the air and a haunting song seemed to emanate from her as she did so.
For a second, there was the glimpse of a mountain behind Morwena, as if she was not completely in the school, then it vanished as she circled the room. Morwena glanced around, then headed over to the window, the song following her as she went.
As she flew over the table, a single silver feather fell gently onto the table, next to Jozan's meal. With a final burst of song, Morwena flew out the window, and unknown to Jozan, hovered above it*

*Jozan listens with interest to the song. It does not seem the kind of melody that would accompany a hostile being, but for that very reason it could be a deception. Jozan allows a few more moments to pass; then, slowly and quietly, he leans over and pokes his head around the dormitory door. From what he can see of the common room, the creature has gone. But just as he heard its wing-beats as it approached, he can hear them now. The creature must still be here: either close by but out of sight, or using some power of invisibility. Why, wonders Jozan, is it behaving in this way?
Jozan silently settles himself back into his original position: hidden behind the door. His wait goes on. If only he could be given his solitude back.*

*Morwena, quite forgetting that she's supposed to be hiding chirps to herself, "Aurak? What a strange sounding creature, at least we were right in not telling him where the school was, though I think she does need to calm down.."
*Morwena glances around, then gives a sigh*
"I suppose I better head back, that knight doesn;t seem to be showing himself here..."

[OOC: Morwena couldn't know that Addis is "Aurak". I checked 'Draconian at the Door', and it was not said in her presence. Or can she somehow hear what people in PhoenixFlame's presence are saying?]
*The creature's latest remark makes the situation much clearer to Jozan. It would surely be safe to reveal his presence to her... Then he thinks again. Were he to do so, he would have to request that the creature not breathe a word to anyone about his location, else the Draconian could find out and hunt him down with all speed. But how could he trust the creature to keep such information secret, when she feels compelled to give voice to her every thought? It is wiser and safer, thinks Jozan, to remain hidden. And he does so, maintaining his silent concealment. He is looking forward to being alone with his thoughts.*

(OOC: Yep, PF and Morwena are linked, I'll be revealing how at a later date, if that's OK! )
*Morwena sighed slightly, then with what looks like a shrug, she soared above the school, heading back towards the Crazed Heifer, her song once more sounding, then dying away as she got further away from the school*
(OOC: Continued for Mor when she rejoins PF

[OOC: If I were you, I would explain PF and Morwena's link as soon as possible, if only to the Moderators. They would want to know if characters have special powers. Plus, it will avoid confusion, such as I had here.]
*Jozan waits. When he is sure that he is alone once more, he returns to the common room. He feels very ashamed at having spent so long lurking behind a door: when has a Knight of Solamnia ever acted with such dishonour? Discretion is the better part of valour, he tells himself in his mind. But in his heart, he does not feel it. My honour is my life are the words in his heart.
Jozan moves towards the table where his food is waiting. He considers his motto: if his honour is his life, then surely his life is his honour? And because of his recent caution, he still has his life. As long as he can hold onto it, in this strange and uncomfortable universe, then there will be opportunities for his honour to be replenished.
There is something in this realm, some undercurrent, that is making it hard for Jozan to be true to himself. He knows he must not let it conquer him. But at the present moment, his foremost adversary is hunger. Ignoring the silver feather left behind on the table by the visitor - taking it, or even disturbing it, could trigger some kind of magical trap, plus it is simply not his - Jozan resumes his meal.*
[OOC: Jozan will be inactive from now until he is next needed. After all, he was only brought to the forum, by request, to make sure that Addis has something to do. ;D]

[OOC: Continued from Prelude to War. Somebody get the boss fight music lol.] *Addis walked into the ruined school. He was not too concerned with stealth, but he wanted to stay aware just incase the Knight decided to become underhanded and attempt a sneak attack - a very unlikly event. Addis heared the clicking of his clawed feet against the floor echo throughout the school. Seeing what looked like a map on the wall, Addis walked towards it. Examnining the parts that were legable (this one was faded), Addis got a basic idea of his location with his photographic memory. Looking around, he walked along, going over in his head the list of spells he may use this day.*

*Noise.
Jozan's eyelids snap open. (He had been resting on the bed since finishing his meal.)
Without moving a muscle, he listens out for something more.*

*After a few minutes of walking, trying to piece together the map with what he sees, he was in what looked like a rest chamber....what did humans call it when it was a school...a dorm? [OOC: Left dorm room, N-R Dorm? Can't make it out.] He gave a frusterated snarl and turned around after he searched the room. Where is he!? Wait...I have an idea... Addis walked out of the room and waved a clawed hand over his body slowly, and made what sounded like a long hiss. Suddenly, Addis was invisible. Then, he stepped into the shadows and focused....*
------- [OOC: The following is intended for Jozan (and anybody else inside) to hear.]
*A little girl, dirty from what ever misfortune had befallen her, stumbled around a random corner, walking seemingly blind. She was crying, mumbling something incoherent. One sentence was clear however.*
"M-m-mommy...where are you mommy? Why did you leave?"

[OOC: Here is the school map again, drawn by Kully (who created the original KMBS roleplay forum, as well as this forum): N-R stands for Nettle-Rose. If you want, we can say that there are extra signs around the school so that Addis always knows where he's wandered to. Each dorm consists of a common room, boys' bedroom and girls' bedroom. There's quite a bit of established info and history about the school from the past five years, so if you're not sure of anything, add an OOC note or PM me. The stripes on the map are stairs, because the dorms are up in towers. This means that not only would Jozan hear Addis approaching up the Nettle-Rose stairs, but he'd have time to react (hide, arm himself etc.). So shall we say that Addis has in fact remained in the hall area at the bottom of the stairs? Or that he searched a different dorm?] *Jozan hears the distraught girl, and feels moved to call out to her - but stops himself. The situation is too strange for him to trust in it so easily. He listens quietly for more.*

[OOC: Ah, I did not see the wall blocking the N-R Dorm. Normally, I'd say Addis made his choice and stick with that, but he can't walk through walls....or can he?....Is the Staff Room open? If so, that would probably be where he'd go for his plan.]
The sound of the little girl screaming in terror could be heard echoing down the halls. Along with the scream, the distinct sound of Goblins and Hobgoblins laughing in sadistic humor at what will soon be a thrilling kill and nice snack. A struggle occurs, and it seems that the little girl has been cut but is still running for her life.
[OOC: The sounds seem to come closer to who ever is hearing them. It does not matter where somebody is, aslong as they can hear them.]
