Hordriss: NO!!
*At once the mage is at Tom's side, pressing his fingers into Tom's forehead.*
Concentrate Troughton. Concentrate on ONE THING, on your own emotions, not on the ones being put into your head....

You were possesed, Troughton, possessed by a force which feeds on hatred and loathing. It must have lain dormant for years, but the horror of the ghostly battle tonight has awoken it again. It is intimately acquainted with these ghosts.
You have banished it to the back of your mind, but it is still there, one can sense it, and it will continue to grow stronger the longer this ghostly battle continues.
*He rises, supporting Tom.*
Come, we must help your friend, Ursula, didn't you call her that? We must lay these spirits to rest before there are any more ghosts. Then we must find its focus, its home. *He swallows* Yes, one must reclaim the Bloodfang Blade.

*Standing at the top of the ridge, Ursula looks helplessly from Tzigane to Korrlok and back again, wondering how to return the locket, whether she now must find Tzigane's remains, or simply return the locket to her ghost. Deciding to try the latter first she approaches Tzigane's spirit, holding out the locket*
"Tzigane! I have your flame here! Take it and be at peace!"
*She holds out the locket to the ghostly girl, hoping for some kind of reaction...*

*In death, Tzigane finds a resolve she didn't have in life. She lets out another ferocious scream, and while Korrlok is unsettled by it, she suddenly pushes his arms away from her.*
Tzigane: "No more! No more!"
*Korrlok tries to advance on Tzigane again, but she starts striking at him, hitting his arms, his chest, his face... anything. Still Korrlok advances, and the blows raining down on him lighten. Tzigane begins to lose hope...*
Tzigane: "No... more..."
*Then she turns and her eyes settle on the undergrowth*

DO NOT INTERROGATE ME TROUGHTON!
*For a moment, Hordriss looks as if he will strike Tom. Then his hand falls to his side.*
It was a mistake... a terrible mistake...
I was not always on the side of the light. The dungeon thought that I was merely neutral, but I prepared for all eventualities, even one in which I would have to take control...
*Tom notices that as Hordriss confesses, he has stopped calling himself 'one'. This is serious.*
The Bloodfang Blade was one such creation. A weapon that would grow stronger with every life it took. But even then, I soon discovered that it was too powerful.
It took a piece of the mind of every being it cut. I was hungry for power, I never considered how it would react, how so many sentient minds, trapped inside a piece of metal, would feel.
One has atoned for one's sins, one has served goodness for many years and saved the lands many times. But until now, one could never find the results of my earlier labour, the worst of which.... a mad weapon, lying in the lands, waiting its moment...
for blood...

*Ursula holds the locket out at arms' lenth, suspended by its broken chain. But the constant mention of a flame is bothering her, when it's clear that there's nothing flame-like about the locket at all.*
"I don't see how on earth this 'flame' can help her... I see no flame... "

*Tom Sighs hevily as he lissesn to the story.*
"I always knew you could get above yourself Hordriss BUT THIS? Still you are right you have atoned for your crimes."
"You could so easily have left me to that foul creature or entity. I meen we have never seen eye to eye. Especially following that incident in mage school with your daughter Sidriss, That led to my expulsion. But you came to my aid I thank you for that."
*He spys Ursula.*
"What is she...*He uses a mind reading spell.* Silly Girl."
"I think That The flame might be refering to an Image in Her Locket My Dear."
*He calls out.*

*Hordriss sighs*
One hopes Tr- Tom, that others will be as open minded as yourself. You must forgive me, one did not realise at the time that one's daughter's... unique method of expressing herself and interpreting the world could be mistaken in that way. One assumed that you had made the first advance. You have already forgiven me much, I will not ask that now.
But see, One thinks that this dreadful affair with the spirits will soon be over...
