Wren sighed. Memories of sneaking out of his dorm room after hours filled his mind.
"Making a quick trip to that forge," he offered by way as an explaination. "And before you ask, no, I don't need any company. This is something I am more than capable of handling myself."
His tone was a little more acerbic than he intended, but he knew that even the slightest activity outside of movement could break the illusion of his shift.

*Leytan sighed*
"I Wasn't asking if you wanted me to come with you....nor was I asking your permission to either!"
*He got out of the bed and quickly threw on his cloaths.*
"And just so we're clear no I'm not worried about your safty...I know you can handle yourself. I'm more worried about the safty of our travaling companions. You get caught sneaking around and you could set of a diplomaitic incident in Winteria."
"Rememmber at the moment the only one of us who has any kind of immunity here is me, Deanery's hasn't yet managed to get assurences from the other royal families to etend her protection to cover the rest of you."
"So you could easily cost them and yourself a chance of protection....and also put my half sister in a hard place to be politicaly and give her enemies just the ammo they need to depose her."
"And I'm not about to let that happan Wren. So like it or not you've got a travaling companion on this little after hours jaunt of yours."

Wren forced himself to maintain his shift, but he knew the effort of talking would slowly erode it away.
"Squire, I can't help but notice a few holes in your logic there. For one, as you may notice, I have certain... talents that will allow a keeping of the low profile. If you accompany me in your currently visible state, it would defeat the purpose somewhat. "
"Look, if I'm caught - which I won't - I'll say I was acting alone and you had no idea. Besides, believe me when I say that no one will even know that I am gone."

*Leytan smiled* "Have you forgoten the events at The Sheik's house?" *Leytan closed his eyes and slowly he also faded from view.* "Like I said back at the Sheiks House...your not the only one who trained in an assassins guild."

//OOC: Everyone got fade now? 8As the two prepared or as it truly was bickered back and forth over who was going and who was not Daenary's continued to make her way through the forests. At times appearing to be lost as she moved back and forth or in zig zags. At times she pulled branches feeling little satisfaction as a slight snap sounded the air. A sudden down pour of snow landing about her. Causing foot prints to be buried or to throw off any possible followers.* *Even in the common guise she had back up plan after back up of various ways and means. Some offensive, defensive and some simply down right brutal.* *The snow seemed to be affected by her mood. The snow falling heavier and lighter as the darkness grew stronger as she moved further and further away from her lodge. The warm lights fading from view.*

There was several moments of careful hesitation. Then, with an invisible expelling of exasperation that could only have been a sigh.
"I see there is no convincing you otherwise," conceded Wren as he slowly manifested himself in the realm of sight again. "A glorious partnership it shall be."
He proferred an outstreched hand.

*Leytan smiled*
"Sorry Wren...Juts can't have you putting our freinds or Deanery's in any tight spots."
*Leytan said as he also let the Shade effect fall from his being and returned once more in to the realm of full sight.*
"A long and fruitfull partnership to I hope."
*Leytan said reaching out to take Wren's offered handshake*

Wren nodded. Then within a second his outstretched hand had become a fist, and had buried itself with all the force it dared into Leytan's vulnerable stomach.
"Sorry squire," said Wren as the Alterian doubled up, "but one skulking bastard will be more discreet than two. Now, if you will excuse me..."
Wren closed his eyes, and seconds later there was an indisctinct patch of air where he once stood. Several footsteps later, he was gone from the room.

*Leytan dropped to one knee winded from the blow. He gasped for air, coughed and splutterd for a minate or two. He managed to pull himself up on the window cill and look out. He shuck his head*
"You young hot headed, impachient, suicidal.....crafty Son of a Bitch!"
*He said with a a mixture of annoyance and respect, half lauging as he did so.*

"But look, if you would only listen-"
"No, no, a thousand times NO," said the lean guard. "I have stood here and swallowed your opinions as to the chronological anachronism of our kingdom, I have listened with interest at your avocations for a society based on the worship of Discordia, and I have even entertained the very real possibility that Lord Fear is establishing a hegemon with aspirations of total domination of this realm and beyond, but I will not, WILL not contemplate the notion that Anne of Cleaves was a bit of all right."
"You can't get your head around the idea of women having a personality that transcends their physical appearence," said his stouter colleague huffily.
"And YOU can't get your head around the idea that a woman's nose should not end several feet away from their face - shhh!"
"What?"
"Did you hear something?"
"Hear what?"
"I don't know. If I knew what it WAS, I wouldn't be asking you what it was I heard."
"Well, what did it sound like?"
"Sorta... skulking."
The stout guard blinked. "Skulking is a state of mind, not an action. Try to tell anyone they're skulking, they'll think you're mad."
"I'm NOT mad."
"Says the one who hears non-existant states of mind exemplified as physical actions."
"Look, never mind, all right? It's gone now."
"The invisible state of mind that wasn't there to begin with?"
"Sure. Why not."

*Daenary's naware of the current escapee continued to make her way to the forge. By now the Master would of long put his fire down to dim embers but would still be awake. The fire would remain dim for now but the idea she had would soon of the fire burning bright should he be able to gain what she currently required.*
*The sounds of the animals about her became quieter as she moved to the building. A single candle burning in one window.*
*She approached the door knocking on it loudly the sound bouncing off the trees but being soothed by the snow.*

Post by Lady Mercury on May 26, 2010 19:35:40 GMT
*Lady Mercury glanced down at the scar and winced slightly*
"If this room wasn't blocking my magic, I could probably heal that for you, though considering my relationship with Leytan, I would be surprised of you allowed me near you. I admit, it does surprise me to hear Leytan has turned to thievery, as when I knew him, it was during war time. I suppose everyone changes..."
*Lady Mercury sighed, and seemed to shrink slightly, as if some of her fire had simply flown away... She mentally shook herself and looked at Coriolis.*
"If you are willing to let me help you, I could find out where Leytan sold what he stole, if indeed he has sold it, and return it to you. Your sister has shown me kindness, and you've shown me no ill will, even though you know my past with Leytan. I would like to help, but only if you want my help. "
*Lady Mercury slid off the bed and wandered over to Midnight. She placed a hand gently on her forehead to check her temperature.*
"Well, she seems a lot more stable than earlier, and a lot warmer, though it would be nice if I could use my own magic!" she said wryly as she reached into her robes. From within there, she retrieved a small vial, and applied a tiny amount to the burns on her hands, wincing slightly as it stung.

*Meanwhile Aaron had decided to check up on Leytan and his "companion" as his gut instinct told him something was amiss.*
*He stopped outside the door a listened for a few moments. His years spent as a Goblin Hunter, before he retired to Winteria and became South Wintera's chief game warden and mentor to both Leytan & Daenary's, meant he had incredibly acute hearing.*
*And the sounds he was hearing from inside the room didn't sound like thous of some one sleeping, in fact more like someone struggling to breath. Suddenly worried something was terribly wrong he took out the key, unlocked the door and pushed it open.*
*The sight that greated him was that of Leytan, slumped against the far wall just under the open window. A pained expression on his face Still clutching his stomach and trying to get his breath back.*

*Aarons eyes narrowed into slits as his gaze took in the sight before him then shook his head slightly before moving over to Leytan. His hands moving to attempt to move Leytan slightly to his feet. *
I see your comrade felt like becoming a corpse.
*He decided to keep the other suspicion to himself that the Princess had left the lodge herself. He gave a brief prayer to the stranger as he knew should the Princess find out he had left the property then she would seek his head on a stick.*
