[ModNote: Continued from Customers?.] [*Leaning in a tavern doorway, his face masked by his hood, Skiprazor surveys the bustling marketplace. He has only been here once before, and is still slightly disturbed by the sheer mass of bodies churning through the place. Dubious-looking traders sell weapons, food, artifacts and trinkets to a motley rabble of shoppers. Humans rub shoulders with Orcs, goblins mingle with dwarves, animals run squealing in the filth, and races of varying origin socialise and barter among the stalls. It is like a seething sea of not-altogether-pure flesh, reflecting the awesome diversity of life in this realm.*] [*Skiprazor is only interested in one individual amongst the melee, though - Leytan the Atlantean, whom he has picked out in the huge mob like the proverbial needle. From the other side of the marketplace he observes his dealings, no doubt in preparation for their impending duel. A handshake with a local Oriental trader, following on from a substantial purchase, is enough to get Skiprazor's instincts whispering the notion of foul play or treachery. He will be needing to make a few preparations of his own, and getting some information from the trader would be useful to say the least . That will come later, though - he has more pressing issues to attend to.*] [*Issues like locating the whereabouts of Julia, for one thing. Even after his protracted encounters here, he has still met no-one who offers any hope of enlightenment apart from her. Yet he has not seen or heard of her since she disappeared for her secret meeting with the minstrel. His investigations would be best started back at the Wolf's Howl, where she had been staying that night.*] [*Some provisions would be in order first, though. Stepping out of the doorway like a detatched shadow, he heads into the marketplace, gliding through the throng of people, inspecting the various stalls for anything that may be of interest.*]

[*Much later, and after a considerable amount of searching, Skiprazor has finished his tour of the marketplace. The stench is becoming almost overpowering, but he has been able to acquire some useful finds:*] fresh water a loaf of bread a block of cheese some rope a bronze talisman a yellow-orange bead necklace a silver shortsword a bag of healing herbs a large cloth[*Skiprazor stores all the items in his knapsack and proceeds towards the Wolf's Howl, to continue his search for answers afresh. However, he is just about to leave the marketplace when he stumbles over something in the road.*] [*Continued in The Marketplace: A Wandering Moogle...*]
