Maid: Why yes, working at a busy inn I have got to know many people. But none of them is worth knowing as much as you! Let us hurry over to the Crazed Heifer, then. Don't forget to lock your door, my dear!
*The maid skips joyfully across the room and waits for Addis outside the door.*

*Well...some good came from this. I now have a base of operations. I just hope I won't need it for long.*
*Addis followed the Maid out the door, but stopped. He closed the door and touched the door with his 'finger'. He slowly traced runes and softly muttered the words to a spell called Mage Lock and an Alarm spell.*
"I am ready, lead the way."
[OOC: Alarm alerts the caster if somebody opens/attempts to open the door. It can be a audible alarm, or a mental ping. Mage Lock makes the door damn near impossible to open, whether by force or lockpicking.]

*The maid watches Addis locking up.* Maid: Goodness, you're full of surprises! How exciting. Who needs a boring old key, eh? *The maid giggles, and leads the way to the Crazed Heifer.* [OOC: Continued in 'Draconian at the Door', Crazed Heifer section.]

[OOC: Continued from "Draconian at the door"] *Addis walks over to a dark ally, and dispells his heat blades. He casts a minor spell, and makes a random rock light up. Good, it was an area of effect type spell... Addis thought as he changed his form, back to Barom Grimms. Addis walked to the Wolf's Howl, entered, and without saying a word, proceded to his room. Upon getting to his room, he dispelled all the wards he had casted and entered. When he was inside, he cast a simple Alarm spell on the door. Doing that, he collapsed on the bed, passing out almost immediatly. What he dreamt, however, disturbed him deeply.* [OOC: The alarm spell will only wake Addis up, nobody else will hear/sence it. The following is Addis' nightmare] *Addis was standing on some war-torn land. Judging from the temperature, and the feel of the ground, it was the Plains of Dust back on Krynn. Looking around, he saw the corpses of many, many evil dragons. He also saw the remnents of Draconians when they died, pools of acid, dust, bones, blast marks. Then, he saw what had happened, The Queen's Army, had been destroyed. Standing near the body of a massive dragon, with it's five heads of Red, Green, Blue, White, and Black, were 9 people....The Heroes of the Lance. His Queen - the five headed dragon - was dead. The Heroes were rejoicing. Soon, people from all of the good races of Krynn came and defiled the corpse of Tahkesis, Goddess of the evil dragons. Somehow, the forces of light had won. He then saw, not far from Her Dark Majesty's corpse, a familar body. With it's broken form, and covered in blood, it was hard to recognize. But, Addis made out the sword, and realized it was his own brother, Flaccus Hellfire, dead, with the sword used by the Solamnic Knight nammed Jozan Dumarr, stuck in his neck. Addis was frozen, to afraid and shocked to move. Then, he head a voice.....no, five voices speaking in unison. The voice said "Prevent this...prevent this and kill all those who would defy The Queen of Darkness....Find a way to open The Portal, and bring me to the mortal realm. It does not matter which realm, as long as it is not The Abyss. Once I enter the physical plain of existance, my power will be unleashed upon the Multiverse." Addis immediatly fell to his knees, and if Draconians could cry, he would have, both from fear and joy. "Yes, My Queen." Addis said....*

*Addis woke up suddenly, expecting to still be in the Plains of Dust, but was relieved that it was, in fact a dream. No, not a dream, but a vision of what would come if he failed in his task. Addis was surprised to feel fully rested, despite the lack of sleep he truely got. Having a sudden random thought, he checked the amulet around his neck. The five dragon heads were pulsing with their own colors....a sign that his Queen was watching him. Muttering a silent prayer, he put the medallian under his shirt and walked to a mirror to check if his illusion still lasted. It did, in front of him was not a Gold Scailed Aurak Draconian, but a human who looked like he was a middle class man striving to become a noble. Perfect, Addis thought to himself as he opened the door and stepped out into the hall way, looking for the maid he spoke to -and charmed- earlyer.*
"Hm....can't remember her name..." Addis spoke to himself silently as he looked around.

[OOC: That nightmare post was great, by the way!] *Sasha Pearl, the maid whom Addis spent time with earlier, has been asleep. Addis' Sleep spell made sure of that. But she was also under the influence of another spell, the one that made her fall in love with Addis. So much magic to heap onto one person... and magic that was alien to this realm too. Distorted by this new realm, and by each other, the two spells unravel... Sasha wakes up. Unsure why she has been taking a nap, she smartens herself up and leaves her room to return to work. Descending from the staff quarters, which are on the top floor, she walks along a corridor and sees Addis in his 'Baron Grimm' guise. She is no longer in love with him, for the Charm Person spell has worn off. But not only that: she doesn't recognise him. As a side-effect of all the magic, her memories of him have melted away. She greets the stranger politely.* Sasha: Good afternoon, Sir. May I be of any help to you?

[OOC: Thanks.]
*Addis looks at the maid, and resists a chuckle. Well I'll be, it seems she forgot about who I am...good. I can use this to my...no...The Queen's advantage. But how? Addis pondered, and caught himself not replying. He turned to the maid and gave a polite bow*
"Yes, my fair lady, I can use some assistance. I'm new to this area, and I was wondering if you could show me...."
*Addis' voice trailed off as he remembered asking this particular maid is the reason why he had the past engagment, which although was quite fun for the Aurak, wasn't very productive. He then remembered his past plan, about the forrest and eliminating this maid. Killing her is no longer nessessary at the moment, but I need to get all the information I can out of her. Then, I will dispose of her. Addis schemed and continued the conversation*
"...where a forrest is around here. I am actually fond of forrests, and I haven't been to one in a long time. Can you assist me? I can pay you to be a guide."
*....or just charm you, if you refuse...*

Sasha: Pay me to guide you? That's most generous, but the Wolf's Howl Inn is already my master, and I fear I cannot have two!
*She continues talking.* Forest? Why, this town is on the outskirts of one: Wolfglade, otherwise known as the Forest of Dunn. 'Tis easy to find: just walk out of the town, and proceed until you see the trees.

*Addis, growing a bit frusterated, bows again and starts walking past the made, while closing the door. He then stops and mumbles something like "Whoops, almost forgot" and walks back to the door. As he is walking past, his finger taps the maid. During the tap, Addis attempts another Charm Person. Not knowing if it worked or not, he traces runes on the door*
"Are you sure? I tend to get lost pretty easily..." [OOC: Worked once for Addis, lol. Charm doesn't always work though...Oh, Addis casted the same protective spells he did on the door the last time he left.]

*The spell works... but not as strongly as before. Sasha gives Addis a friendly smile. He seems a nice man, and he appears to really want her help.*
Sasha: Well, I wouldn't want to be responsible for you getting lost! But I can't stray far from here, or the boss will notice I'm gone and I shall be in trouble. So, how about I walk with you until we come in sight of the forest's edge, and then I return here?

"Yes, that will help me, thank you very much. You know, I never learned your name, and it is impolite of me not to ask, what is your name? And do not worry, you won't have to go far...."
*I am not sure how well the spell worked. People tend to grow resistant to being charmed by the same person. Once there, I will Dominate her mind, and pry all the secrets I need from her. Then, she will die. Addis planned as he gave a friendly smile and made a gesture*
"After you."

"Grimms. Barom Grimms. A pleasure to meet you. Shall we go?"

Sasha: You wish to go now? But it is late afternoon, and before we know it, the sun will be set. The forest is no place to be during darkness, for then you certainly will get lost! Shall we not wait until morning, when you will have a full day's daylight ahead of you? I only have your best interests at heart.

"I understand your concerns, but I come from lands that are...how shall we say this..naturally darker then this area. I am used to the darkness, and I prefure to avoid the heat and brightness. My hide has been saved many times by this habit of mine."
*Addis chuckles a bit. I could Dominate her mind now, but will it make noise? Some people tend to scream when they feel a prescence forcing its way into their mind..if they notice it. Addis thought to himself, and was about to scratch an itch on his tail, but he remembered: Humans lack tails. I despise this form...*
