8Staring into the fire for a few more minutes.*
I'll be fine I was just a tad shocked to hear him call me your Msitress..I guess even though I am your lver to be seen as your mistress is demeaning and can't stand to be called that which ladies of the night are called. I am sure you have had many ladies frequent your bed and that I am not worried about that but I am no woman to be seen as nothing more than a toy to be played with then tossed aside when you grow bored of me and find the need of something younger or better looking...and I guess Mistress makes me worry that you only see this is a temporary thing...

*Smiles at a memmory.*
"Plus one lady whos Husband would kill me if he ever learned what took place between me and his wife for well over a year."
"But none of them have ever given me as much happines as you have. that night in the shop you surenderd not just your body but your very being to me. You are my equaly in many ways Catherine I would not find another lover like you if I serched these lands for a 1000 years."
*He kissis Catherine on the lips. Just then the gong sounds.*
"Hmmmm rats can't we get a moments peace. That was the dinner gong Catherine my dear, Dinner will no doudht be ready when we arrive in the Dinning Room."

*Catherine frowns momentarily then takes Marcus's offered arm and get's lead into the dinning room where candles are lit, flickering their orange light around the room and the aroma of food fills the room. On the table sits many dishes and probably more than she would be able to finish.*
*Marcus sits her down at a chair and then takes a seat himself. As she starts to eat her meal she begins talking.*
So how did your buisness trip go Marcus?

"It went as well as could have been hoped for under the circumstances Catherine."
"Silverden is a quait little town and very behind the times I'm affraid. There whole econamie is based on there silver mines. And what with them running dry the towns on the way down I'm affraid."
"What good the mayor thought me and my private guard could do gaurding the mines is beyond me. There was hardly enough silver to make it worth a crooks while to risk stealing it."
"To be honnest I think most of the local gentry there are walking round in a dream world, they don't want to acceot the reality of there situation its all."
"Oh The Mines Haven't run dry. We just need to find the next big strike you'll see, The Silver will be flowing again soon enough."
and even thouse who do admit there is a problem with the minds don't want to belive it's a natural problem.
"No they would rather blame it on "The Assosiation." rather then Mouther Nature."
