[ModNote: Continued from A Mexican Trade Off.] *Raven re-apperd and landed with a bit of a bump.* *But typicaly of Tom Troughton's Hobo Magic somthing had gone a little arrye.* *When Raven's head and eyes had ajusted from the light diorintation that always acompanies teleportation she realised she was not in Tom's room at The Wolfs Howl. She was in Fact sat on the Roof of The Wolfs Howl Inn!!!*

*Raven blinked at the sky. It was a clear and peaceful day. She continued to stare until she got a feeling in her leg. A small bird had taken an interest in her shoelace. Raven continues to look as the bird tries to eat her shoelace. Raven comes to her senses and kicks the bird away. She tries to stand up, but stumbles as a loose tile slips beneath her foot. She moves gingerly to the edge, and peers at the ground below. She boggles down at the ground and moves away quickly. Breathing heavily she looks around the roof*

[OOC: Ironically, it looks like Raven could have done with a TomTom Sat Nav system. ;D]
*A few passersby notice Raven. One can't quite believe his eyes - maybe, in a place like Wolfenden, a person on a roof is just not surreal enough - and he decides upon an urgent trip to the Crazed Heifer to drink himself sane. The others stare with concern... then they laugh, and move on. This, of course, is no great help to Raven. So many dungeoneers before her have suffered a nasty fall: will she be one of them?*

*Raven gingerly moves to the chimmney of the pub and rests against it. Attempting to calm herself down and think straight, Raven notices a glint in the corner of her eye. She instantly checks her pockets. The bottle of Sickness Pills had fallen out her pocket, and now lies in the gutter! Raven gingerly moves her way across the roof, one hand on the chimney, the other outstretched to reach the bottle. The roof, still being slightly damp, slips away beneath Raven and two more tiles fall to the ground. Raven balances herself near the edge, and manages to fall backward onto the roof into a sitting position. Breathing a sigh of relief she picks up the Sickness Pills, which are now within easy reach. She looks at the bottle and smiles. What she doesn't notice is that when she slipped, some of the stones that make up the chimney support, which she had been holding onto, had come away! Raven had but a few moments of realisation as she falls from the roof. Almost reflexively, she grabs hold of the gutter with one hand, and the bottle in the other. The chimney stack falls to the ground beneath her. The wet guttering slowly slips beneath her fingers*

*Raven brased herself for the fall that seemed imanent she closed her eyes .* *The gutter slipped from her grasp and she fell, but sudernly she jerked to a stop. She wasn't falling anymore she was dangaling in mid air. She opend her eyes and looked around and then upwards.* "Nice of you to drop in Miss Raven." *Tom said to her he was danagling out of his rooms window holding onto her arm.* "I don't think this is the right place to hang around my dear." *He said with a smile. and statretd to pull Raven up and into his room.* [ModNote: Tom was last seen in Shopping for Answers.]

*Raven colappses onto the floor and stares at Tom.*
"That... that is the second time you have saved me."
*She peeks out of the window down at the ground, at where the chimney had now fallen. Some of the patrons have come to analyse the damage*
"Oh no.. now i've really done it"
*She sets the Sickness pills bottle on the side. It is slightly broken in places, but other wise intact. She puts the detection powder next to it. The powder seems to glow a bit, but after what has happened Raven does not notice it, or at least pays it no heed.*

*Gose and looks out the window as well.*
"Hmmmm not to sure Dal Marx The Landlord will be to impressed with that. So to avoid any unplesntries.."
*Tom mummbles a spell and clicks his fingers and the bricks float back up onto the roof and reforme the chimney. Tom leans out and has a look at his handywork.*
"Not a bad job if I do say so myself. Maby I should have gone into building instead of choseing the Hobo life. Ah well all the burning bridges lost and what have you."
*Turns to Raven.*
"Now then miss Raven I hope your recoved from your accident. Let me appolagise my magic is sadly lacking the acuracy of a Hordriss or Grimwladen."
"On a more plesnet note I see you got what we require. I hope Cathrine Barter wasn't to steep with her prices."

"Catherine? No, she wasn't there. I talked to...
*Raven pauses for a few seconds*
"Some.. chinese guy. But I recognised him. I don't know where from, I don't know how. But I did. I think I hit him. There was a spyglass on his stall, but it didn't work. Then.. then I met a strange guy, who traded a bottle of 'Lockpick' for showing me to a trader who could help me. I got these from him. He was strange, mexican guy, I think..."

*Raven pictures the strange man in her head..*
"I didn't get to see much of him.. he was tall, male.. er.. well spoken too. Wore dark clothes.. he always walked in the shadows, like they followed him or something. Oh, and I met him in an alleyway, just aside from Catherine's stall."

*Raven does not notice the brick, and is too fixated on Tom's bemused expression to notice him looking behind her at the hovering brick*
"I thought he was a strange person, I even thought about running, but Treguard told me to "Trust Until Given Reason Not To"."

*Tom is momenterily distracted by the floating Brick. He hopes it dosen't do anything silly. Magic can cause inanimate objects to act in percuiler ways at times.*
"Hmmmm dosen't sound like any Opposition agent I know Miss Raven."
*He says turning his attention back to Raven.*
"And this Mexican trader could you discribe him please. I've travled quite extensivly so I may have come across him before now."

"He wore a long multicoloured.. shoulder.. thing.. and a large twirly moustace. He spoke in a.. mexican accent."
*Raven pauses for a moment*
"I'll admit, I dont actaully remember much about him. I guess I.. sorta went out on a stereotypical moment "

*The brick continues to hover outside the window. It poses no threat to Tom or Raven; it merely seems to be waiting for guidance, like a lost sheep in need of a shepherd. Otherwise it could decide to head for the ground and end up giving a passerby a severe headache...*
