*Lady Mercury smiles at Lokie*
"Not at all, I completely understand! My name is Constance."
*Lady Mercury glances then at Drago*
"Tell me, where did that key come from, as from what I gather from your conversations, you arrrived via the window. Though I would appreciate it if you could unlock the door, as I do need to headback to my room"
*Lady Mercury gives them both a dazzling smile*

I believe you told me that your room isn't actually your room!
Lokie: *Raising an eye, but not himself from the floor* Just be gallant and turn that key for her, will you? I assume it has simply been sitting in the lock since before we arrived. Charmed to have met you, Constance.
*Drago unlocks and opens the door. Then he bows.*
As am I! Not our last encounter, I hope.

*Lady Mercury bows to both Lokie and Drago with a gentle smile on her face* "It was a pleasure and an honour to meet you both, I too, hope this is not our last encounter! As to the room not being mine, well, let's just say I'm sure the room owner won't object to me being there!" *She smiles happily and walks past them into the corridor back to the room* (OOC: Continued, for Lady Mercury in Looking for Leytan)

*After Constance has left, Drago shuts the door. He remembers too late that he still has her smelling salts.* Lokie: Well! Your taste has improved.*Drago smiles.* Lokie: And good on her for humouring you! You were like a child trying to reach the biscuit tin on the top shelf of the larder. Ha.*Frowning* Better than reaching to the floor for crushed dragonmint. Lokie: Hush now. I need to rest.*Drago sighs as Lokie begins to snooze. After making himself busy around the room, he scoops the remaining Dragon Nip into its pouch. It could prove very useful in the future for ensuring Lokie's good behaviour. Growing bored, Drago wanders over to the window. He looks again at the strange chimney brick that is hovering outside. Drawing his sword, he taps the brick. It makes an echoing sound, as if it is metallic, hollow, and larger than a brick could possibly be. Yet it barely moves. As Drago puzzles over this, Lokie comes round. He is sober.* Lokie: Right then. Time to go.*Sheathing his sword* What about getting supplies? Lokie: We'll try the next town. I've had all I can stomach of this one.Fine. Lokie: Oh, I almost forgot - put it back.Pardon? Lokie: Must we play this game every time? Put it all back.*Drago grimaces - and starts replacing every item from the room that he had pocketed (except the Dragon Nip).* Lokie: And let us leave a little compensation for the poor door. But it wasn't our- Lokie: Indeed not, but nonetheless, we are civilised enough to care.*Drago deposits a few coins on the side. He continues to replace items around the room. Finally, he withdraws Callimpsest's key.* Lokie: Source?A gentleman in the corridor. Lokie: A passing stranger? I bet you don't even know what door it's for! As I keep telling you, there is a line to be drawn between thievery and kleptomania.*Sighing again, Drago drops the key, and kicks it through the tooth's hole in the door and out into the corridor.* There. He'll think he lost it. Lokie: This reminds me. Raven's little soliloquy about you filching a skull ring.Bunkum, I assure you. It never happened. Much as I like this line of work, I'd never make off with such a distinctive object as that. It would be too quickly missed, and too easily traced. Lokie: I thought so. Well then...*Lokie makes his way out of the window and onto the roof. Drago follows, and climbs onto the firedrake. The firedrake in turn climbs into the sky, and they leave Wolfenden below and behind.* [ModNote: Continued in Temporary Home.]

*A little while later, a maid approaches the door. She's been asked to check on the status of the room and its occupant, Tom Troughton the magician, whose unpaid bill has been mounting. The maid is perturbed by the damage to the door, and after knocking several times, tries the handle. The door is unlocked, and the maid enters to find the room in an untidy state with an odd mix of odours, but empty of people. Outside the window, the mysterious brick continues to float. The maid puzzles over it for a time, then decides that it's as harmless as it is enigmatic. Maybe it is simply a 'calling card', accidental or deliberate, from the magician. After cleaning the room, the maid gathers up Tom's belongings. There aren't many of them, though she seems to recall a rumour about Mr. Troughton having magically capacious pockets, and reasons that most of his possessions must be with him, wherever he's gone. The maid is slightly worried about what might have happened to him; but it is not her concern, and magical people do tend to disappear off on important business at the drop of a hat. The maid adds up the coins she has found in the room. By her reckoning, they should go most of the way towards covering the door repairs and Tom's unpaid bill, though he will still owe a little to the inn if he ever returns. The maid leaves Tom a note to that effect in one of the drawers. After all, magical people also have a tendency to let themselves into buildings without using the front door. Taking the key from the inside lock, the maid departs Tom's former room, locking the door behind her. She will take Tom's abandoned belongings downstairs to be sorted through; but first, she has other instructions.* [OOC: Continued in 'Addis' Room'.]
